All university staff and students are invited to nominate candidates who deserve to be awarded the university’s honorary decoration for their outstanding achievements.

On the Affective Constitution of Political Struggle“ is edited by Andreas Ventsel, Professor of Political and Sociosemiotics at the University of Tartu, and Peeter Selg, Professor of Governance and Political Analysis at Tallinn University.

On 23 May 2025, Minister of Education and Research Kristina Kallas approved the results of the external evaluation of Estonian research and development. In the competition for entrepreneurship promoters 2025, organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, the Kobar innovation hub and the technology school // kood were named Estonia’s best entrepreneurship promoters. They will represent Estonia in the European Enterprise Promotion Awards competition in Copenhagen in October.

Over the years, the building has deteriorated and become too small for the needs and possibilities of teaching and studies, so it will soon undergo renovation. After that, the building will also house the University of Tartu Tallinn office.
