Admission and studies

The Faculty of Social Sciences is the largest faculty of four at the University of Tartu by the number of students. There are 13 400 students studying at the university and 43% of them (5900, incl. international students) are students of the Faculty of Social Sciences. There are 6 institutes in Tartu, 2 regional colleges in Pärnu & Narva and a School of Law in the capital Tallinn. Our main research areas include law, economics, business, educational science and educational management, politics etc.
